Welcome!

For an understanding of who I am, please see the "About Me" page.  Needless to say, I am a practicing Christian in a mainstream Protestant denomination, who is tired of the exclusive rights the Western Church holds on God.  The great Cathedrals of Europe and the Churches of America are emptying because of the lack of inclusion and understanding found in the modern  practice of Christianity.

“Come unto me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matt 11.28, Yeshua Ben Jose.

‘We only need to look at figures – one in four children have divorced parents. Wives, submit to your own husbands.’

Newsline - Yahoo! News Feb. 11, 2010

Scientists have identified areas of the brain that, when damaged, lead to greater spirituality. The findings hint at the roots of spiritual and religious attitudes, the researchers say.

The study, published in the Feb. 11 issue of the journal Neuron, involves a personality trait called self-transcendence, which is a somewhat vague measure of spiritual feeling, thinking, and behaviors. Self-transcendence "reflects a decreased sense of self and an ability to identify one's self as an integral part of the universe as a whole," the researchers explain.
